Horse Training
& Tune-Ups

A trust-first approach to developing calm, confident, and willing horses — built for lasting results, not quick fixes.

The foundation of everything we do

Our training philosophy is centered around one thing: creating a calm, confident, and willing partner through trust.
01
The nervous system first

Before any skill is asked for, the horse must feel safe and regulated. Emotional balance is the prerequisite — not an afterthought.

02
Groundwork as the root

Real communication starts on the ground. A connected, trusting foundation there makes every transition to saddle work smoother and more reliable.

03
The horse's pace, always

Progress is measured in softness, relaxation, and genuine mental engagement — not speed. Rushing creates tension; patience creates willingness.

Our program blends traditional western techniques with positive reinforcement, always working at the horse's pace — not forcing them into ours. The result is horses that are not only responsive, but genuinely willing and present in their work.

Rather than pushing for fast results, I focus on helping each horse feel truly understood. We look for softness and real mental engagement before progressing, allowing each horse to build confidence instead of tension.

By building the horse correctly from the beginning, clients gain a more dependable, confident partner — reducing setbacks and the need for retraining down the road. The result is a horse that feels safe in their work, understands their job, and can perform with consistency and ease.

Programs & services

🐴
Colt Starting

Building the right foundation from day one.

Starting young or green horses with an intentional, trust-based approach. Every step is introduced at the horse's pace — from halter work and groundwork through saddling, desensitization, and first rides. The goal is a horse that feels confident, not just compliant.

🔄
Tune-Ups

Refreshing connection, responsiveness, and softness.

For horses that have lost some of their responsiveness, developed resistances, or need a reset. This isn't about drilling — it's about finding out why a hole exists and addressing it at the root so changes are lasting.

Problem Behavior Work

Understanding what's underneath the behavior.

Whether it's spooking, gate sourness, barn sour behavior, bucking, or difficulties with loading and handling — We look at the whole picture. Most "problems" are communication gaps or unresolved anxiety. We address those, not just the surface behavior.

🏆
Performance & Advancement

Taking a solid horse further, the right way.

For horses with a good foundation who are ready to advance their skills — whether that's precision, athleticism, or preparing for a specific discipline. Work is always built on willingness, not demand, so horses stay confident as they're challenged.

Getting started is simple

1
Tell us about your horse

Fill out the short intake form below. Share your horse's history, what you're working through, and what you're hoping to achieve. The more Morgan knows going in, the better she can prepare.

2
Schedule a consultation

We'll reach out to set up a time to connect — either by phone or in person. Every horse and situation is different, and this conversation helps determine if it's a great fit before anything is committed to.

3
A custom plan & honest pricing

Because every horse is unique, pricing is never one-size-fits-all. After the consultation, We'll put together a tailored plan and quote that reflects your horse's specific needs and goals — no surprises.

4
The work begins

Regular communication throughout the process means you're never in the dark. We believe clients should understand the "why" behind the work — so you leave not just with a better horse, but a deeper understanding of them.
